CADEMAP: Applied Connection for the Development of Materials and Processes

The CADEMAP project – Applied Connection for the Development of Materials and Processes, coordinated by GEMASC/UFSM, focuses on providing specialized technological services to the industrial sector, aiming to strengthen knowledge transfer and boost the development of innovative materials and processes. Through consulting, physical, chemical, and microstructural characterizations, as well as support in the development of new products, the group promotes technical solutions aligned with market needs. The resources obtained through these partnerships are reinvested in the maintenance and improvement of the laboratory infrastructure, ensuring the sustainability of research and extension activities. CADEMAP also provides practical and interdisciplinary training for students, encouraging their enrollment in postgraduate programs and consolidating GEMASC's role as a link between university and industry for technological innovation.
